Labiaplasty

It is a very common surgery for older women. Generally, labiaplasty is used to reduce the size of the labia minora. The labia minora is an opening found on either side of the vaginal opening. It is advised not to go for labiaplasty if you are 18 or younger as the labia minora of a woman keeps on maturing after puberty till second puberty (ages 30-40).

There are some cases where some women don’t like the look of their labia minora, due to which they opt for labiaplasty. But one thing should be noted is that there is no harm in having skin folds near the opening of your vagina, which is visible. This is one of the reasons why labiaplasty is not that frequently available in the NHS. Opting for labiaplasty could be a very important decision in your life because it is often very costly and involves many risks.

You must consider everything before opting for it. Unlike other operations or surgeries, there is no guarantee that you will get the expected result from the surgery. Before opting for this surgery, one should consult experts in these fields to analyze your situation and determine whether you need it or are fit.
