Revision Rhinoplasty

The revision of Rhinoplasty is considered to be one of the hardest plastic surgeries to ever exist. Even after being performed by an expert surgeon, the after-effects can be radical such as external deformities or even specific breathing issues. The main reasons behind it are the nasal anatomy. If there is a need to perform a second surgery, then, in that case, only the most experienced surgeons are considered due to its risks. Just like any other risky surgery, it is essential to consult a doctor to know whether you need the surgery, along with predicting the results of the surgery. This will help you to decide whether you want to opt for the Revision Rhinoplasty or not. One thing to note is that many outside factors can lead to a failed surgery, during which case the surgeon cannot be blamed.

Procedure:

  • The patient is subject to general anesthesia.

  • Generally, internal incisions are done, but sometimes external incisions are also used.

  • There is a reshaping of the bone and the cartilage of the nose, but immediate care is needed to continue proper breathing.

Benefits:

  • If you are subject to revision rhinoplasty, you can be assured that the surgery is less painful than the original surgery, so you can endure the after pain.

  • Unlike most other surgeries, you will be back to your original conditions but do not consider joining your office during that period.

  • The healing process of this surgery is very fast as there are fewer bruises compared to the original surgery.
