Alar Correction

Generally, there are many types of alar deformations within Asians. Out of which, Alar retraction is the most common one. Along with having the highest occurrence rate, it is also very complicated as the cartilage only supports the alar, and the soft tissue envelope is hard to stretch. There has been a surge of aesthetic procedures as most of these processes are spread to common people through social media. This is why you should contact a doctor before opting for a doctor to know the real factors, risks, and benefits involved in this process. With time, there are increased cases of secondary surgeries. This is because of the increase in the number of rhinoplasty. This also caused the alar deformations to be much more varied than before, hence causing it harder to predict.

  • The doctor starts the preparation by marking your nose with a pen to visualize the area to be incised.
