Breast Asymmetry Correction

Breast asymmetry means different size, shape, nipple as well as areola characteristics or it could entirely be a combination of all the above. There are concerns when it comes to having breast asymmetry and it also causes low self-esteem. Breast asymmetry is too common these days and it causes a lot of challenges as well. Now there are various types of breast asymmetry and also degrees of what is the size of the breasts, or the shape and as well the position. We very well know that breasts can be uplifted and shaped as per desired results for like it can be enlarged, or it can easily be reduced. Breast implants might as well be used in either one or both breasts, at times there are no breast implants required at all.

Procedure:

  1. Outpatient surgery is performed under local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia.

  2. Incisions are placed in inconspicuous areas to minimize visible scarring.

  3. Incisions are made underneath the breast and encircling the areola.

  4. The overdeveloped breasts are cut out of tissues without affecting the mammary gland.

  5. Implants are placed in the underdeveloped breast.

  6. When the surgery is finished, the incisions are closed using layering techniques that reduce tension.

  7. A sterile dressing is applied to close the incisions.

  8. A surgical bra is placed to hold the breasts in position to protect them while healing.
